The existence of wolf and the conflict with livestock breeders leading to poison baits use is the reason for termination of the project for re-introduction of the Bearded Vulture in Picos de Europa National Park in Spain. In the same time, a similar project in the wolves free Andalucia is quite successful. A study of FWFF team together with experts from Sofia University suggests that the increasing of wolf and the consequent use of poisons by livestock breeders is the main reason for decline of vultures on Balkans.
