More Egyptian Vultures in Kresna Gorge

Egyptian Vulture is nesting in Bulgaria, but the population is in rapid decline. From 50-60 pairs in 2000, there are 22-23 nesting pairs nowadays. It is listed as “Critically endangered” in IUCN Red list since 2007. The reasons for declination are very complex, as some are connected to threats in the African continent.
