The Imperial Eagle we equipped with a transmitter in Vrachanski Balkan on 02.07.2019, spent most of his time since then in central Northern Macedonia. Unfortunately on 15.12.2019 the transmitter signal us that the bird is not moving. We checked the site near the city of Veles and found an eagle killed by an еlectrocution after attempting to land on a 20kw power pole.
